SMS consent and messaging terms
Text messaging disclosures for borrowers and prospects contacted through CloneALO by a licensed mortgage brokerage.

Consent
How consent is obtained
Text messages are sent only to a number whose owner has given prior express written consent to the brokerage — typically through a checkbox on an application or lead form that is unchecked by default, or a direct request from the person. Consent is never a condition of applying for, or receiving, a loan or any other service.
Each consent record stores who consented, the number, the exact language shown, the source, and the timestamp. CloneALO blocks a send when no valid consent record exists.
Who is messaging you
Messages come from the mortgage brokerage you contacted, using CloneALO as its messaging platform. Every message identifies the sender. CloneALO does not message consumers on its own behalf and does not send marketing on behalf of anyone who has not obtained consent.
What you will receive
Message types
- Transactional loan updates: application status, milestones, and closing coordination.
- Document and condition requests, including secure upload links.
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders.
- Replies to a message you sent.
- Where separately consented to, occasional rate or program updates.
Opting out and getting help
Keywords
- STOP
- Immediately unsubscribes the number from all non-emergency messages. Also honored: END, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE.
- HELP
- Returns the sender's identity and support contact. Also honored: INFO.
- START
- Re-subscribes a number that previously opted out, after re-confirming consent.
Opt-outs take effect immediately and are permanent until you opt back in. You will receive one final confirmation message. You may also ask your loan officer to stop texting you by any other means, and that request is recorded the same way.
Frequency, cost, and carriers
- Message frequency varies with your loan activity; conversational and milestone-driven, not a fixed campaign schedule.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your plan with your mobile carrier.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Supported on major U.S. carriers; delivery is not guaranteed on every carrier or device.
How CloneALO enforces this
Send-time gates
Before any text leaves the platform, the following must pass. A failure blocks the send and is logged.
- A valid, unexpired consent record exists for that number and message type.
- The number is not on an internal do-not-contact, do-not-text, or suppression list, and has not sent STOP.
- The send falls within permitted local calling hours for the recipient.
- The sending number belongs to a registered messaging service with an associated A2P 10DLC campaign.
- The message content passes the brokerage's approved template and disclosure rules.
Inbound STOP and HELP handling, delivery receipts, and opt-out state are processed automatically and written to an audit record. Outbound messaging is disabled entirely while CloneALO is in synthetic-only mode.
Privacy
Your number
Phone numbers and message content are handled under the privacy policy. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing, and are shared with messaging carriers and providers only as needed to deliver the messages you agreed to receive.
CloneALO is operating in synthetic-only mode. No live borrower data is accepted, and no outbound message, call, or billing action is performed. This document is provided for review and is not legal advice; a brokerage should have counsel approve final terms before production use.
